So here’s the boring bits. I studied creative writing followed by broadcast journalism. I’ve worked for a newspaper, an international disaster relief charity, a tourism company and a marketing agency. I grew up in Stratford-Upon-Avon via Singapore and the US. I’ve called Cornwall home since 2009. I’ve been on TV, radio and in the national press and worked with businesses around the world.
Enough of that. Let’s get to the fun stuff. I’d much rather you want to work with me because of who I am than rather than any preconceived ideas who might have. Scroll on, dear reader, to find what I love...
a good story
Stories are a universal language. They transcend barriers. They are a common narrative that tie all of humanity together. It sounds a bit grand and maybe it is but its something I believe in. And I love a story that wraps around my heart and my mind. The more stories there are in the world, the better this world is. That’s why I love telling, reading and listening to stories.
people who inspire me
I’m sure we can all name them. The people who we come across in life you inspire us to be more than the sum of our parts. To do something differently, to affect positive change in the world or to simply lead our lives to the fullest. These people fill up my soul.
I love sport. Always have and always will. Sure there can be a whole bunch of negatives that surround sport but, in it’s purest form, it’s a expression of the very best of us, especially team sport. Having spent most of my time in Cornwall gig rowing I’m now enjoying a renaissance in my rugby career before I get too old to throw myself around a field every Saturday afternoon.

family & friends
I have a young daughter and, if you follow me on Instagram, you’ll see we have a ball together. Forever grateful to my family, both near and far, for the support they give me and for letting me be me. Same to friends.
