Back in 2014 if you’d said the words ‘workforce management software’ to me you’d have been greeted with a frown, a slightly quizzical look and a raised eyebrow.

Not only did I have no idea what workforce management software was, I’d genuinely never even heard of it before. So when I was asked to join a call with Quinyx, a workforce management company based in Stockholm, and outline a content strategy for helping them break into the UK market, it was a leap into the unknown.

But what a great leap it turned out to be.

You see (and I’ll let you into a little secret here), the most important thing about tech and software isn’t it’s specification, how it’s built or the language it’s coded it, it’s about the impact it has on people’s lives.

Fast forward to the present day and I can say with confidence I’ve become a workforce management expert, publishing more than 150 blog articles on and around the subject. Alongside this I’ve written ebooks, guides and white papers touching on all aspects (from successfully implementing new software to reducing labour cost) of the industry.

My writing supports Quinyx in all areas whether that’s nurture track emails or landing pages for their global campaigns. I’ve also helped shape their story when it comes to their video content, overseeing the production of a number of their video testimonials - an example of which is included here.

I count it as a privilege to be part of the amazing journey they’re on. From having zero customers in the UK back in 2014, they now work with some of the biggest names on the high street including Debenhams, Papa Johns and Rituals.

Knowing my work has helped fuel this growth is genuinely fills me with a great deal of pride, not least because the true value of their product is often felt by the end user. Something that sticks in the memory is interviewing the brilliant Belynda who works in security at London City Airport.

She told us she never misses a family event or a special occasion, because she now uses Quinyx, and can plan when she works around them. Seeing the smile on her face and the light in her eyes  (knowing I helped write the campaign that brought London City Airport to Quinyx) was a brilliant moment.

I’ve created an enormous amount of content for Quinyx and, if you’d like to get a flavour of what it’s like, I’d recommend starting with their blog or the resources section of their website.

If you'd like to find out more about what I do or discuss how I can help please drop me a line.

I’ve been working with Tommy for almost 4 years and he’s helped us create a thought leadership position in the Workforce Management space in the UK as well as being a vital part of creating our inbound marketing strategy. Innovative, energetic and a great writer – I consider Tommy as a part of our marketing team and could warmly recommend working with him.
